Cabourg racecourse
Magic racing !
A small Norman version of Paris’ Vincennes, this racecourse has for many years attracted France’s best trotting horses for its famous night races.
As night falls the race can be appreciated from the stands or the panoramic restaurant. In July and August, numerous games and shows take place during the "Estivales de l’hippodrome" (summer racecourse events.)
During this period the racecourse puts on an evening event every Tuesday and Friday.

Cabourg is equipped with a completely new and ultra modern racecourse which is exclusively dedicated to Trotting races. It is organized and run by “Le Cheval Français” who operate all of France’s most prestigious racecourses such as Vincennes in Paris, Enghien, Caen, Vichy and Rambouillet.

The Epona Trophies Horse Show
During the the three days of this show, Cabourg is in a festive mood, and horses have pride of place. The general public is cordially invited to come and discover the world of horses and its multiple facets in this free event. On offer are equestrian sports and shows, the showing of films and exhibitions and activities in the town, on the beach and at the racecourse.
